(Formerly Heather Comerate.) created DRILL FEVER! in 2004.
A die hard Equestrian Drill Junkie from the start, she wanted to feature the obscure sport and showcase it like it deserved.
She designed and began producing the BLING BLOUSE specifically for drill teams and later added Spotlight Tack to dress up our amazing equine partners. Both products are made in Oklahoma, USA!
A carded Equestrian Drill Team Judge since 2004, she has served as judge for numerous notable competitions including WLRCA State Meet, Cow Palace, SuperRide, Florida State Championships, California State Championships, OWDTA State Meet, Reno Rodeo Championship Drill Competition and many more.
Heather has also paid her drill team dues in the dirt enjoying many years of riding drill as well as serving as coach. She acted as Head Coach for her beloved Freedom Riders in central Oklahoma and guided them through many wins as well as performances for the AQHA World Show and NRHA Reining Futurity where they were the featured entertainment. In addition, she was blessed to be one of the 100 Palomino Riders in the 2012 Pasadena Rose Parade - A tribute for Roy Rogers' 100th Birthday Celebration.
Although she enjoys traveling and serving as a judge, she much prefers teaching drill clinics for teams across the United States. A two day clinic with Heather involves riders on their own horses in their own arena while they delve into a technique and training that will take them years ahead in their equestrian drill team abilities. Be prepared for high energy, a ton of fun and a lot of work culminating in a sense of accomplishment when attending one of her clinics!
Heather now calls Norman, Oklahoma home with her two daughters and her husband, Nick.
